We are looking for a 3D Animator for Chimera Custom XG to bring the project to completion. This is a full time contract position to start as soon as possible, and while we are looking for someone in North America due to set team meetings time everyone is welcome to apply.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain a high level of animation quality while working within design constraints and balancing performance issues.
  • Creating full-body and facial animations and high poly rendered stills for use in in-game, cinematics, and marketing.
  • Ability to create and refine character and object animation cycles and loops.
  • Ability to work with non-standard body measurements for human, humanoid, and alien creatures.
  • Technical aptitude to work to spec on complex workflows and existing rigs.
  • Regular communication with production regarding animation tasks and timelines.


Requirements

  • 3 years minimum of experience as an animator in the video game or related industry.
  • Game engine proficiency in Unity.
  • Proficiency in Maya or Blender.


Bonus

  • Experience in character rigging, skinning, and weighting.
  • Follow through of the 3D pipeline from concept to implementation.
